C.A.D.F., the Turkey Slaughter Centre of Le Faouët, located in France, has specialised in turkey processing since 1980.

Poultry unloading was carried out by picking the birds directly from the truck and transferring them to the processing line.

The truck and its modules were washed manually, requiring manual handling to achieve the required results.

C.A.D.F. therefore entrusted us with the project of integrating an automated live turkey reception machine. The objective was to meet ergonomic and workplace safety requirements at the hanging area and provide an automated washing solution to meet increasingly stringent sanitary requirements.

Today, with the new CM2A machine, continuous-flow hanging of the turkeys has resulted in:

  • Improved productivity
  • Improved working conditions

The modules are now automatically washed and disinfected. This delivers:

  • Continuous-flow automated washing
  • No need for dedicated washing staff
  • Significant water savings
  • Controlled disinfection
